Year of Ox 2021! It’s my first ever Lunar New Year in Australia. No holiday, no Asian snacks and most importantly no “bai nian” and no “ang pau”. The only do thing I can do is scroll through social media, looking at my family and friends’ posts on how they’ve been doing through the Lunar New Year celebrations during the lock down. It’s different this year, but still doesn’t affect the spirit of celebrating it. Wishes to everyone to have a prosperity year of Ox and hopefully we can go back to Malaysia for “bai nian” next year.
