Easy to say than done. It has been a great year for 2022. New challenges at work has make me feel exhausted but at the same time enriching my life. Have been trying to write a new blog but also procrastinating. So finally here you go…
In January, I finally visited sunflower field and also Lake Moogerah. Thanks to my dear friend for this beautiful photo of Joey and I.
During April 2022, we have celebrated our second wedding anniversary by planning a short trip to O’Reilly Resort at Lamington National Park. Such a beautiful scenic to visit. The drive there is bumpy, and the internet connection there is terrible, but it gave us more time to find peace in our mind and away from the disturbance.
In May, I had the most wonderful birthday celebration with my friends and family. It’s simple but lovely. June has been wonderful as we welcoming new member in this family. Alicia, our precious niece. She is like an angel from heaven.
For July, Joey and I went for a freebies adventure for his birthday. For those that know him know how much he loves freebies.
October is exciting because my parents came for a visit in Brisbane. Finally after 2 years of pandemic, I get to reunite with them in person and not just through video call. Wished they could stay longer than 2 weeks. It’s always hard to say goodbye.
November and December are full with gathering with friends and family. Christmas is the my favorite season as it’s to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Savior. A saying that I love for Christmas since years ago “This is Christmas, not the tinsel, not the giving and receiving, not even the carols, but the humble hearts that receives anew wondrous gift, The Christ“.
Lastly, it’s great that my younger sister, Susana is in Australia for studying now and my younger brother, Timothy will join us in 2023.
2022 has been a great year. It’s full, it’s fun, it’s lively. There are frustration and disappointment as well, but I choose to cherish the good and blessings.
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
